OUR MISSION
Cypher Side's mission is to welcome and inspire young dancers into a healthy and diverse community. We are a hub for youth dance culture that teaches and encourages youth to perform different dance styles. We know that performing arts can help the youth build life-long confidence, strength, and grit. A “cypher” is an important hip-hop ritual in which dancers circle up and take turns dancing in the center, showcasing their personal style, and building community through mutual encouragement. The essence of Cypher Side is building community and confidence through dance.
